Reliability of electricity supply is an
important question for costumers and utilities too. Liberalisation of
electricity market increasing rate of dispersed generation, renewable sources
based generating technologies make the technical and economical calculations
and grid operation more complex and difficult. One of the ongoing research
project supported by the Hungarian Scientific Research Found is focused on
reliability issues of the electricity supply. In one of the newest reports of
the project we evaluate the features of dispersed generation technologies in
relation with their impacts on reliability of electricity supply.
